Seams between the designed shrouds, side panels and seat are flush, which facilitates freedom of movement, while the newly positioned clutch and brake hand levers offer improved access when riding on- or off-road.
• RIDE WITH COMFORT: The 2024 KLX®230 S motorcycle delivers all-day comfort with a designed seat that has a flat silhouette so riders can adjust to their ideal riding position. Additional seat thickness also helps absorb bumps from rugged trails and uneven roads for improved rider comfort.
• SHINE BRIGHT: The 2024 KLX®230 S has a compact LED headlight in a slim, sharp front cowl offering remarkable brightness at night or in low light conditions. The multi-function LCD dash meter and smartphone connectivity via RIDEOLOGY THE APP* helps keep your riding information right in front of you. • MORE RIDERS, MORE FUN: The KLX®230 S extends the playing field, allowing more riders to experience the thrill of dual-sport riding thanks to a reduced 33.2-inch seat height
• CONFIDENCE INSPIRING: The KLX®230 S features a shorter, two-stage front suspension with 7.8-inches of travel. The front forks are shorter, and work with shorter dual-stage springs with a firmer spring rate. Combined with reduced rear suspension travel (8.7 inches), this helps lower the seat height by 1.6 inches.

• BUILT TOUGH: Versatility is the name of the game as the KLX®230 lineup is loaded with dual-sport tuned features. The engine and chassis were designed together to make KLX230 models as agile and lightweight as possible, while the frame, suspension, swingarm, brakes and wheels are fine-tuned for thrilling on- and off-road performance.
• PLATFORM WITH PURPOSE: The high-tensile steel perimeter frame, short wheelbase and low seat height offer the handling needed for confident trail riding for a wide range of riders and environments. 33.2-inches on the KLX®230 S.
• CONFIDENT ON- AND OFF-ROAD: The 2024 KLX®230 S has a longer-travel suspension with optimized settings that help power through rugged terrain with comfort and control. Plus, a lightweight aluminum swingarm and rear brake master cylinder helps keep the bike light for improved on- or off-road maneuverability.
• STRONG BRAKING POWER: Petal disc brakes add even more stopping power, with a twin-piston caliper gripping a 240mm disc in the front and a 220mm disc in the rear.
• A KAWASAKI FIRST: The 2024 KLX®230 S is available with an updated dual-sport calibrated ABS*, specially developed for this model. Designed to assist stopping performance on low-friction surfaces, this ABS system will offer reassurance to both new and experienced riders. A switch on the left handlebar allows riders to disable the front and rear ABS function to better suit riding conditions. (*ABS model has a 265mm petal disc front rotor.)
• BIG-TIME FUN: Full-size aluminum wheels measuring 21-inches in the front and 18-inches in the rear allow for confident riding and handling over varied terrain.

Fuel injection delivers precise response, and smooth torque leads to rider-friendly engine character with linear acceleration.
• HASSLE-FREE ADVENTURE: Electric start and fuel injection ensure easy starting and efficient fuel delivery regardless of altitude or air temperature. A smooth-shifting six-speed transmission covers a wide range of street-riding conditions and allows for a more comfortable ride on both the streets and trails.
